In both the matrix of reality and the programming of a computer, there is an underlying structure that shapes and organizes the experience. For West Africans, this underlying structure is represented by adinkra symbols. These symbols point to universal truths about our world, such as the interconnectedness of all things or the cyclical nature of time. Just as a computer program is created by a programmer, reality is created by a higher power.
